... The Founder: For there to be a Foundation it was necessary for someone to step in and take this responsibility. As President of the Hungarian Scottish Society, it was Magyar Zoltan who was on hand to do this.

... The Honorary President: Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United football club is very interested in the activities of the Foundation and is happy to lend his full support.

... Current Joint Patrons: Greg Dorey (pictured left), H M Ambassador in Budapest and Czako Borbála, the Hungarian Ambassador in London and Chair of the Hungarian Business Leaders' Forum.

The RBIF was set up in 2005, with the assistance of the British Embassy and the Hungarian Scottish Society. At the time it was Mr. John Nichols, the British Ambassador in Budapest and Mr. Béla Szombati, the Hungarian Ambassador in London, who agreed to become joint patrons to lend their support to the work of the RBIF. ... The Curatorium, when present changes are completed will consist of six members, Jock MacKenzie Chairman, Adrian Gray, Mike Birch, Dawn McKen replacing Steven Fisher as British Embassy representative, Camilla Jansen and András Moldovan who oversees legal matters in the running of the Foundation. It is their responsibility to set the goals, monitor performance and to ensure the highest standards of governance and financial probity. Members also take an active part in the work of the Foundation providing advice and practical assistance.

... The Supervisory Board, Two of the original members resigned for personal reasons, Alex Doughty and János Csak, and Rev. Ken Mackenzie has taken a post in Scotland, retiring as Chair of the Supervisory Board. Ken Mackenzie left Budapest to take up his new role as the Queen's Chaplain at Balmoral. He continues on the supervisory board. Coming into the Supervisory Board as Chair is Lawyer Steven Conybeare and he will be joined by Dr. László Petró.

... Advisory Posts: In addition the Foundation has the assistance of a medical adviser, Prof. Dr. György Fekete, former Director of the SOTE II clinic in Budapest. His expert advice enables the RBIF to select appropriate projects.
